The project team - Five of the six in the project team (April 2010), the sixth took the pictureEarly sponsor visit - Early on in the project we were delighted to have a visitor (centre, surrounded by most of the team) from the Co-operative Membership Fund who were one of our earliest sponsors.A visit from our major sponsor - Graham Heal, from our major sponsor - Local Foods - was a welcome visitor to the orchard on 18 August 2010 The Grove Primary School visits - A 'nest' made by a 5 year old pupil from The Grove Primary School when Year 1 visited the orchard on 20th September 2013, using hay from the recent orchard cut and hawthorn berries from the hedge.Another 'nest' - Another 'nest', this time in an apple tree!Beauty of Bath... - A chart made by the Year 1 pupils from The Grove Primary School. They tasted both Beauty of Bath and Ellison's Orange apples, and decided which they liked best. Despite 1 or 2 children being undecided and placing their stickers in the middle, Ellison's Orange proved the most popular.Effstop Eyes Photo Shoot - On May 4th 2018, we were delighted to host a visit by the Effstop Eyes partially sighted photography group - here they are along with helpers both human and canine.The low-down - After tea and cakes in our Village Hall on arrival, it didn't take long for them to get right down to business, the cowslips were still putting on a good show.
